Self Introduction
It's
my pleasure to meet you in my blog. I am Muhammad Yasin bin Mohd Sazali. Basically, I belong to Kota
Kinabalu, Sabah.
I have been living in Kota Kinabalu for 4 years now. I stay here with my family. Besides my parents, I am the
second from eight siblings. Currently, I am working as an Army Officer at Kem Lok
Kawi as I have currently
studying Degree in Management in UNITAR.
I am
very interested in the Management studies. That was the reason I chose to
pursue higher studies in Degree of Management at UNITAR. Post that, my internship experience
and other practical projects in the college further boosted my interest in Army as a full-time career
option.
Not
only am I passionate about the field I graduated in, I am also inclined towards
creative activities such as dancing, painting, acting, etc. I have always been
an active student in school and college. I have participated in many cultural
events during my college days and have
won many awards.
In
my free time, I enjoy going out with friends and trying new cuisines. I also
enjoy watching movies, listening to music, reading, working out, and going on
road trips.
I am
looking forward to knowing more about this opportunity, and I will be happy to

Their chancellor is Yang Berbahagia Dato' Mohamed Nizam Bin Tun Abdul Razak was born on 3 October 1958 and is the son of Tun Abdul Razak Bin Dato' Hussein, the second Prime Minister of Malaysia, and Tun Rahah Binti Tan Sri Noah. He is the third in the family of five sons. He is married to Yang Berbahagia Datin Khadijah Binti Tun Abdul Rahman and blessed with one son, Muhammad Nadzmi.
A distinguished graduate of Oxford University with a Bachelor of Arts (Oxon) Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, Dato'Mohamed Nizam started his career as Manager with the Corporate Finance Division at Bumiputra Merchant Bankers Berhad. In 1984, he joined stockbroking firm PB Securities Sdn Bhd first as Director of Institutional Dealing and later as Chief Executive Officer of the group, a position he held until his retirement in 1998.
Since 1998, Dato' Mohamed Nizam has been a value investor engaged in buyouts and private equity transactions in Malaysian companies such as the purchases of interests in manufacturing, construction, oil and gas, healthcare, property development, information technology and diversified groups. Combining his experience in corporate finance and stockbroking, he successfully brought several of his investments to eventual listing on the stock exchanges.
A corporate leader, Dato' Mohamed Nizam previously served with distinction as Chairman, Director, Member of the Audit Committee of several major private and public listed companies in Malaysia including Public Bank Berhad, Public Finance Berhad, Cambodian Public Bank Ltd, Deutsche Bank Malaysia Berhad, OYL Industries Berhad, Tamco Corporate Holdings Berhad, Hiap Teck Venture Berhad, Delloyd Ventures Berhad, LPI Capital Berhad, Public Mutual Fund Berhad, Harrison Holdings Berhad, Kamdar Group (M) Berhad, Dolomite Corporation Berhad and PK Resources Berhad. He also served on various committees of Bursa Malaysia Berhad (formerly known as the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange or KLSE) and on its pro-tem committee which was instrumental in the creation of the Malaysian Exchange of Securities Dealing & Automated Quotation, better known as MESDAQ.
Dato' Mohamed Nizam is currently Chairman, Director and Member of the Audit Committee of several major private and public listed companies in Malaysia and Singapore that includes Mamee-Double Decker (M) Berhad (Food), Yeo Hiap Seng Ltd (Food), Asia Experience Sdn Bhd (Tourism), Healthscan Sdn Bhd (Healthcare), Wah Seong Group of Companies (Oil and Gas) and Petra Energy Berhad (Oil and Gas). In May of this year, he was appointed as Regional Adviser to Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS). He also serves as a Pro-Chancellor of University Tun Abdul Razak.
While sitting on various boards and committees for over 30 years, Dato' Mohamed Nizam earned a formidable reputation for championing the cause of good corporate governance and protection of minority interests. He has made it the personal mission of his corporate life to raise by a considerable degree, these standards in every single board or committee that he has sat on.
A tireless advocate of causes who has had a towering impact in Malaysia, Dato' Mohamed Nizam sits on the Board of Trustees of several charitable foundations such as Yayasan Cemerlang, Noah Foundation, Hong Leong Foundation, National Children Welfare Foundation, Yayasan Rahah and Yayasan Wah Seong, focusing on education, religion and children's welfare. Through those various charitable bodies, he serves as a strong advocate in the education of the less fortunate, deserving students at all levels. Children have been the biggest beneficiaries of the Foundations. He also helped establish the Mohammed Noah Fellowship of Oxford Centre of Islamic Studies at the Oxford University.
Despite the various vital roles and responsibilities held by Dato' Mohamed Nizam, he remains a golf enthusiast and enjoys reading a wide range of short stories, novels and subjects, as well as spending precious time with his family. "In family life, love is the oil that eases friction, the cement that binds closer together, and the music that brings harmony".
Meanwhile the University Senate is the highest academic body of UNITAR International University (UNITAR), subject to the provisions of the Constitution and the Statutes and Regulations of the University. The University Senate holds control and general direction of instruction, research and examination and the power to award Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees.
Moreover, Unitar the first virtual or eLearning university in ASEAN among the accredited degree programs that are Bachelor of Bussiness adminitration, Bachelor of Information System, Bachelor of Management, Master of Bussiness Administration, Master of Information and Multimedia Tech and Master of Information Technology and Managent. Therefore "Successful and unsuccessful people do not vary greatly in their abilities. They vary in their desires to reach their potential."
